Payment
- Payment methods: cash or cheque.
- Cheques should be made payable to THE WORD SHOP.
- All one-hour lessons are at the flat rate of HK$150
(From September to June). Payment should be made at
the beginning of each term. No discounts are offered.
- A trial lesson is HK$150 and non-refundable.
Refund
- The Course Material fees (if applicable) are
non-refundable.
- After enrolment, refunds will only be made if there is a
change in schedule (and the students decline the
revised arrangements), or if the class is cancelled.
- Refunds will be made within one month after request
for refunds.
Absence & Make-up Class
- No make-up lesson for absence without notice. Credit
will only be given for 1 notified absence per month. An
early notice must be given to the centre when
students are on leave or absent in order to claim
credit lessons in the following term.
- Notice of general absence must be given 2 days
before the lesson.
- Notice of medical absence must be given at least
2 hours before the lesson starts.
- All make-up classes are non-refundable.
